"Raising Standards for ALL"
CAMPAIGN TO ELECT DR. TIFFANY BRYANT
My Why
I am running for the Palm Beach County School Board, District 4 seat because I care deeply
about our schools and I believe our students deserve a school system that holds itself to the
same standards it demands of them.
And now is the time to raise the standard for ALL—including at the district level.
It is time to ensure that the system meets the same expectations we set for them every day.
I bring a PhD in International Relations, with professional experience in research, government,
counseling, finance, and education. More importantly, I come to this role as a parent of a child in
the district, the spouse of an educator within the district, and someone who has spent the past
academic year working inside our schools as a substitute in various roles.
Given my research background, I made a deliberate choice to step away from my profession to
work within our school system. Over this academic year, I have worked part-time across multiple
schools and roles to gain firsthand insight into what is happening in our classrooms, hallways,
cafeterias, front offices, and school environments. I did this with intention, so that what I bring
forward is grounded in direct, current experience.
This campaign is personal to me.
As a parent, I have experienced how difficult it can be to fully access what is happening in
classrooms and secure the support for our children that they need. Even as a highly engaged
family, we have had to push for enrichment opportunities for our high-performing child. I have
seen instances where not all families are equally supported, and students miss out as a result.
For example, through our family’s experience with the Dual Language Program, I have seen
inequities in support. Spanish-speaking families like mine are often able to bridge gaps, but
English-speaking families are not always given the tools they need to help their children
succeed. As a result, students leave programs they should be able to thrive in. That is not
acceptable.
I believe in the importance of parental rights and that they are an essential part of student
support.
I have also observed that while many educators are dedicated and effective, there are
inconsistencies in expectations and accountability. Teachers are expected to remain in
compliance with constant changes while managing multiple levels of instructional material, often
without the consistent support needed to successfully meet the increasing demands placed on
them.
I am not running with a political agenda—I am running with an action agenda.
I believe in responsibility, transparency, accountability, action, and results—not excuses. I
believe the district must become proactive instead of reactive. Our students are expected to be
innovative, engaged, and high-performing every day, yet those same expectations are not
consistently applied across the system. And I believe it is time for many of the adults in the
system to meet the same standards we set for our students.
The Future Is NOW, and it is past time for the district to act.
It is time to raise the standard for ALL.
Es hora de elevar el estándar para TODOS.
Li lè pou ogmante estanda pou TOUT.
